Guest Housing Agreement

Rental Rates

  • Guests and Staff for College-Related Business

    • Guests or staff requiring housing for college-related business will receive complimentary housing and meals.

  • Temporary Housing for Students

    • Students needing temporary housing will be charged a weekly rate of $100. Billing will be processed through Populi.

  • Family of Students

    • Family members of students may enjoy three complimentary nights in the dorms. Any additional nights will be billed at the general guest rate.

  • General Guests

    • General guest rate is $20 per night per person.

  • Meals

    • Meals are available for $10 per meal, per person. Please inform the College in advance if you wish to include meals during your stay.


Requests, Payments, and Cancellations

  • Request: Requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the check-in date. Priority will be given to on-campus students, and stays may be denied or canceled at any time, either before or during the stay, to accommodate on-campus students. Guests will receive a refund if their stay is canceled by the college. 

  • Payment: Full payment is required at least 7 days before the check-in date via check or cash. Students will be billed through Populi.

  • Cancellations: To receive a full refund of payment, cancellations must be made at least seven days before the check-in date.

Usage Agreement

By signing the Renter agrees to make full payment as outlined above and comply with all policies below:


Rules and Conduct for Mid-South Christian College Property

  1. Tobacco, Drug, and Alcohol-Free: The College’s campus is a tobacco, drug, and alcohol-free property.

  2. Weapon-Free: Mid-South Christian College does not allow any weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives of any kind are on the premises at any time.

  3. Code of Conduct: All guests must abide by the College’s Housing Policy and Code of Conduct.

  4. College Host: College host will be responsible for their guests for the duration of their stay. Host will also be held responsible for any violations of this agreement. 

  5. Transportation: Transportation is the responsibility of the Renter and their host. 

  6. Non-Transferable: The Renter will not assign or transfer this agreement to any other person or organization without the College’s consent.

  7. Use of Assigned Areas: The Renter will only use designated dormitory areas and is responsible for leaving them in pre-use condition.

  8. Respecting Property: Dormitories must be used responsibly, and any damages or alterations to the space must be reported immediately.

  9. Bedding: Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding. Guests needing bedding should notify the College in advance.


Gate Operation

  1. Only use designated remotes, access codes, or key cards to operate the gate.

  2. Wait until the gate is fully open before proceeding to avoid damage to the gate or your vehicle.

  3. Do not tailgate behind another vehicle. Each vehicle must be authorized and wait for the gate to reopen if necessary.

  4. In case of a malfunction, do not attempt to fix or manually operate the gate. Contact security or maintenance for assistance.

  5. If emergency access is needed (e.g., ambulance or fire department), inform security or management immediately.


Security and Surveillance

  1. The gate area may be monitored by surveillance cameras. Misuse or vandalism will be recorded and reported.

  2. Trespassing or unauthorized access attempts may result in legal action or property restrictions.


Liability and Indemnity

The Renter agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Mid-South Christian College and its agents from any liability, loss, or damage arising from the use of the dormitory.


Damage and Cleanup

The Renter is responsible for the costs of any damages or necessary cleaning beyond normal wear and tear. The College reserves the right to charge for repairs and cleaning as needed. Any damages not covered by the renter will be the responsibility of the college host. Check-out instructions will be provided in the room for the Renter to follow.


Force Majeure

Mid-South Christian College is not liable for cancellations or changes due to causes beyond control, including weather, strikes, or government mandates.


Changes to Agreement

Any changes to this agreement must be approved by the Mid-South Christian College Business Office. The Business Office reserves the right to charge a minimal fee for substantial modifications.


Signatures

I have read and agree to abide by all the policies outlined above. I accept full responsibility for any damages or violations of the agreement and understand my payment obligations.


By signing below, I agree to all terms and conditions and acknowledge that Mid-South Christian College reserves the right to revoke this agreement and require me to vacate the premises at any time.
