Recovering the Dream is a consultation service of Mid-South Christian College designed to assist congregations experiencing a decline in membership. Every congregation was started with a compelling vision and the excitement of sharing the gospel with the lost. After many years of growth and expansion, most congregations go through a period of stagnation and decline. Often times the leadership strives to revitalize the congregation through the hiring of new staff, the infusion of money and resources, and the renovation of programs. Unfortunately, many churches continue to decline and begin to lose hope of ever growing again.

 

Mid-South Christian College has not only observed this trend, but has also experienced the stagnation and decline itself. Through God’s grace the faculty and staff have learned to persevere and now, through Recovering the Dream, the college offers help to the local congregations seeking revitalization.
